Nationwide, 73% of polling places may be inaccessible to people with disabilities, according to a Government Accountability Office report. Voters who are disabled often are reassigned to a polling place farther from their home or vote by absentee ballot, said Lee Page, associate advocacy director at Paralyzed Veterans of America. "To find barriers in this simple issue is really disheartening," he said.
