Clinicians say medically it's called cubital tunnel syndrome and the symptoms include numbness, tingling and pain in the forearm and hand. It is caused by compression of the ulnar nerve, from holding a cell phone up to the ear, sleeping with the elbow bent or propping up an elbow on a car window for long periods.
