General Motors will maintain advertising spending at between $40 million and $50 million per month as it undergoes bankruptcy reorganization. While the automaker's ad outlays fall short of its $2 billion annual spend in year's past, the ad spend doesn't represent a major drop-off from recent months. GM's media buying shop, Publicis agency Starcom MediaVest, is owed about $121.5 million and is looking to obtain "critical vendor" status in bankruptcy court.
