Scientists say a component in coffee can inhibit the development of bad breath. They would like to isolate the bacteria-inhibiting molecules, possibly leading to the creation of a new class of breath-freshening products such as gums and mouthwashes.

The Dr Pepper Snapple Group has signed an exclusive deal with Electronic Arts, giving the beverage company control of special content for "The Sims 3" and other video games. To access the content, gamers will have to purchase Dr Pepper products and obtain the codes.
