Bazooka Candy Brands has updated its trademark character Bazooka Joe as part of its overarching plan to revitalize its brand image. “The reveal of a reimagined look for Bazooka Joe is the final step in a successful multi-phased brand refresh that has seen sales double since it began in 2013,” said Senior Brand Manager Nicole Rivera. The company said it considered over 100 new looks for the character.
Bazooka Candy Brands has launched a new Dragon Berry flavor as part of its promotion for its "How To Train Your Dragon 2" partnership. The new flavor will be offered in Jumbo Push Pops, Ring Pops, Baby Bottle Pops and Juicy Drop Pops -- all featuring movie-themed packaging. Television ads and interactive online games and activities also are part of the promotion.
Bazooka Candy Brands is extending its Ring Pop line with the addition of Ring Pop Gummies. The line, scheduled for a 2013 launch, will be offered in strawberry, cherry, watermelon and blue raspberry flavors.

Bazooka Candy Brands has launched Ring Pop Heart, a heart-shaped Strawberry Crush-flavored hard candy affixed to a ring. "We believe it will quickly become a popular addition to the Ring Pop range and help consolidate our position within the impulse sector," an official said of the candy, which is being introduced in time for Valentine's Day.
