Gas prices have jumped 76 cents since the beginning of the year, sparking concern among some in the travel industry, but others say those fears are unfounded. "Although fuel prices are creeping up, it is hard to imagine that we will have a repeat of last year's fuel spike this summer, given the still-dismal state of the global economy," said Darin Lee, an airline analyst at LECG.
