A survey of parents, health care providers and preschool educators in New Hampshire found thousands of young children don't get treated for mental-health problems because services are unavailable or difficult to find. The New Hampshire Association for Infant Mental Health study showed 70% of physicians said they lacked adequate information about mental-health issues for preschool and younger children. Only 20% of physicians reported having expertise in the area.
