Declines in earnings per share of as much as 44% compared with the same period a year ago are expected from most U.S. chemical companies for the second quarter, analysts say. One analyst says Huntsman could post a loss of 15 cents a share, compared with a profit of 9 cents a share a year ago, and Dow Chemical could see a loss of 8 cents a share, compared with a year-ago profit of 81 cents.
