After cutting half his workforce and watching cancellations soar, the head of Cessna Aircraft says the company's worst days are past. "The negatives, like (order) cancellations are slowing down," CEO Jack Pelton said last week. "We're starting to see orders start to rise again." That's also good news for Textron, Cessna's corporate parent, which denies it has any plans to sell the aircraft maker. "I think I can be clear that no one is interested in any way, shape or form in divesting Cessna out of Textron. It's a central asset of what Textron is," according to CEO Scott Donnelly.
