Sharing technology solutions among multiple customers can help managed service providers cut down on operating costs and boost profitability, according to a report from CompTIA. "Meeting individual customer needs is clearly the top priority for managed services providers," said Dan Liutikas, CompTIA's senior vice president for industry relations. "But when they can leverage common technology platforms and solutions for multiple customers, they boost their operating efficiency. That's good for both the service provider and their customers."
