Following the collapse of the dominant Registered Traveler provider last month, the National Business Travel Association is attempting to revive the program with Flo Corp., a much smaller competitor of Verified Identity Pass. "We have been working with our investors, partners and other industry stakeholders, including the TSA, to restore the Registered Traveler network," says Flo Corp. CEO Glenn Argenbright, while another official says the company is nearing an agreement to reopen Registered Traveler lanes at a major airport. NBTA, meanwhile, has written to 21 airports that formerly had contracts with Verified Identity Pass, "urging their cooperation in reestablishing Registered Traveler lanes."
