After investing 16 years of "long and tortuous" efforts to join the World Trade Organization, Russia is still determined to become part of the international body, said Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, speaking during U.S. President Barack Obama's visit to Moscow. "We are determined to join the World Trade Organization," Medvedev said. "The format may change, and additional agreements may be needed, but we would not want to lose anything from what has been achieved in recent years."
