Nokia's sharp denial Monday of reports that it is producing a phone based on Android software may have a twist: According to one report, Nokia will use a new software toolbox called Qt -- reportedly on a handset using an upgraded version of its Maemo Linux operating system, a companion to its own Symbian open-source software that will allow developers to write applications to any major system, including Android.
