Standard & Poor's Case-Shiller Home Price Index found that home prices fell at a slower pace in April than they did in months prior. "This is a real relief," wrote Ian Shepherdson, chief U.S. economist at High Frequency Economics. "With sales volumes now stable and likely to rise a bit over the next few months, we think sustained slower price falls are a decent bet."
