The Council on American-Islamic Relations has issued a stern letter to the U.S. Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security's civil rights office, accusing TSA screeners of humiliating a Muslim woman who was attempting to board a plane at a Dayton, Ohio, airport. The woman, who wore a full-length dress and an Islamic head scarf, complained after being escorted to a private screening room. She was forced to lift her dress and be hand-searched by three female agents who even checked inside her undergarment, according to the council.
