Boeing Co. said Thursday the long-delayed 787 Dreamliner will get its first test flight by the end of 2009, with initial deliveries of the innovative aircraft slated for roughly a year later. Though some analysts expressed doubt that Boeing would hit its latest target, Wall Street appeared reassured, and Boeing shares rose more than 8%. Despite 73 cancellations this year, Boeing still has 850 orders for the 787 on its books.
