An 8.5-megawatt natural-gas co-generation plant is among the green features the developers of the $8.5 billion Las Vegas CityCenter project will highlight this week during the National Clean Energy Summit. Other green systems incorporated into the project are expected to conserve up to 39% of the water used indoors and up to 60% used with landscaping. The project's energy saving features include reflective rooftops, energy-efficient HVAC systems and room and lighting controls.
