Denver International Airport is seeking city approval to open a second solar power plant, two years after its first solar facility went online. DIA says the $7 million project would provide all the electricity needed by the airport's fuel farm and could be operational by the end of the year. "We expect this project to reduce energy costs for our airline and cargo business partners over the 20-year term of the agreement," an airport official said Wednesday.
