As the European Central Bank prepares for its meeting next week, the 16-country eurozone appears to be recovering, deflationary risks have subsided and an effort to bolster bank lending is in place. "They must be feeling good because it doesn't feel as though you need to do a whole lot more," said Erik Nielsen, European economist at Goldman Sachs. ECB officials likely will focus on keeping the recovery running smoothly.
