A new terminal planned for London's Heathrow Airport will include a rippling roof with three peaks and two troughs. Officials say the waves in the roof will serve as a guide for travelers. The roof will rise at check-in points and then dip down at the terminal's exits. The design of the roof also allows light in the terminal while avoiding a greenhouse effect, they say.
