The tax burdens in the health care reform plans proposed by President Barack Obama would cause employers to cut jobs and, as a result, increase the number of uninsured individuals the reform purports to help, writes Deroy Murdock, a media fellow with the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace at Stanford University. Murdock cites NFIB projections of 1.6 million net jobs lost in the first five years of an employer-paid insurance mandate.
