Airline pilot and columnist Patrick Smith says the recent release of Libyan terrorist Abdel Baset Ali al-Megrahi should remind security officials that bombs -- not takeovers -- remain the major threat to commercial aviation. "Our obsession with the events of 9/11 has left us vulnerable," Smith writes, arguing that the TSA's focus on sharp objects distracts from the real danger. "Good luck getting a hobby knife through a concourse checkpoint, while a pocket full of Semtex is unlikely to be noticed," he says.
