Toyota Motor Corp. said it will establish separate companies to oversee marketing for the car-maker beginning Jan. 1, 2010. One of the units will manage marketing efforts in Japan while the other will "carry out and assist global marketing as well as coordinate and assist the marketing activities of TMC affiliates." Publicis Groupe's Saatchi & Saatchi, which counts Toyota as its second-biggest client in terms of revenue, did not comment.
