The U.S. Court of Appeals in Philadelphia upheld an online gambling ban after the Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association sued in 2007 to overturn the law. Three judges ruled that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act "clearly provides a person of ordinary intelligence with adequate notice of the conduct that it prohibits." The 2006 act does not make Internet gambling illegal but "incorporates other federal or state law related to gambling."
