Some members of the City Council in Atlantic City, N.J., continue to support a ban on smoking in casinos. Last year, the council considered a complete ban but did not pass the measure because of its possible effect on the casinos' business during the economic downturn. Current rules allow smoking on 25% of a casino's floor. "A 100% smoking ban would be catastrophic," said Mark Juliano, CEO of Trump Entertainment Resorts. "Right now, we just can't face another negative."
