Officials at Chicago O'Hare figure their airport would receive more than $87 million a year in additional funding if the Senate passes a FAA reauthorization bill that includes a $2.50 hike in the maximum allowable Passenger Facility Charge. Rosemarie Andolino, Chicago's aviation commissioner, says the airport could borrow against the increased PFC to help fund its ambitious $5.5 billion modernization program.
