At THETRADESOW, managers of travel agency trade groups said that although leisure sales have hit bottom, the effects of the economic downturn will be felt for a long time, possibly permanently. Companies have tightened their travel budgets and may maintain those lower budgets. One industry executive expressed concern that travelers have been "trained to buy at today's low prices all the time."
