The U.S. Marines, having exceeded its recruitment goals through 2012, is releasing an "in your face" TV ad that emphasizes the tougher side of military service, as a means of attracting an even higher caliber of recruits. The spot from JWT was directed by Simon Crane, who was part of the team that filmed the Normandy beach scenes for "Saving Private Ryan."
