A report from Pembroke Consulting predicts U.S. pharmacies may see more than $350 billion in prescription-drug revenue by 2015 as costly prescriptions for chronic and complex illnesses propel growth. Generics are expected to advance profits, but those profits also will experience pressure from new contracting strategies and price wars from retail pharmacies' generic-drug programs, the report said.
