Pilot Fred Wright has restored three Stearman biplanes and plans to attend the 38th annual National Stearman Fly-In in Galesburg, Ill. All of the World War II planes had been turned into crop dusters, but Wright restored them to their original military glory. Wright flew one of the Stearmans to the fly-in Sunday but had to turn around the next day for repairs when the right brake fell off during landing.
