Liberal Democrats tried twice but failed Tuesday to get a government-run insurance option into the Senate Finance Committee's health care reform bill. Committee chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., said he wants the bill that comes out of his committee to be one that can pass with bipartisan support. "No one has been able to show me how we can count up to 60 votes with a public option," Baucus said.
