Some Pittsburgh seventh-graders learned about collaboration and Newton's three laws of motion by working in small groups to build and launch rockets -- a project that also celebrated the 40th anniversary of the first manned moon landing. Instead of allowing students to pick their partners, science teacher Sue Morgan divided the students into co-ed groups. "You can't always pick who you're going to work with. It's real-life experience," she said.
