Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke raised concerns that the trade gap with China could cause another global financial crisis. "To achieve more balanced and durable economic growth and to reduce the risks of financial instability, we must avoid ever-increasing and unsustainable imbalances in trade and capital flows," Bernanke said Monday during a speech in California. Bernanke pointed to the role strong export markets played in fueling Asia's recovery after a 1997 collapse.
