Cablevision recently debuted an enhanced advertising system that allows viewers to request additional information about an advertised product or service without being redirected away from the show they are watching. Dave Kline, president of Rainbow Advertising Sales, Cablevision's ad-sales arm, said the new offering, dubbed Optimum Select, is just the beginning for the company. "Five years from now, the majority of our advertising will have some enhancement," he forecast.
