NASA has released underwater photos showing a large dent in the side of the Ares I-X rocket, which made its first flight during a brief test on Wednesday. One of three parachutes designed to float the rocket's first stage back to Earth reportedly deflated, causing a harder-than-expected splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean. The rocket is due to arrive back at Kennedy Space Center in Florida today, and "until that point, everything is probably speculation," said one NASA official.
