Former News Corp. executive Peter Chernin's role in helping Comcast in its bid to take over NBC Universal is prompting speculation about whether Chernin will assume a leadership position at NBCU, if the acquisition is successful, and how his participation in the deal will impact his relationship with former boss, Rupert Murdoch, whose company is backing Chernin's new film and TV production company.
