A Pennsylvania review commission gave its OK for the adoption of the Keystone Exams, a series of state graduation exams to be given at the end of 10 courses to all high-school students across the state. Pending final approval, the first three exams -- in algebra, biology and English literature -- would be introduced in the 2010-11 school year, and exams in other subjects would follow through 2016-17.
