The only thing that's really wrong with Britain's REITs is the unfortunate timing that brought them into the economy just as the worst recession since World War II hit, analysts said. Now they have another chance. "People correlate UK-REITs with the poor performance of the last two years," said Leonard Geiger, vice president of fund manager Cohen and Steers. "It was just bad luck. It is nothing to do with the REIT structure, just unfortunate timing."
