Researchers at the Singapore Bioimaging Consortium's nuclear imaging group are exploring ways to image how drugs are working in cancer patients. They are studying various radioactive markers used in PET and PET/CT imaging, including thymidine tagged with a radioactive fluorine marker. Researchers also are developing a new imaging technique that uses terahertz radiation, a type of radiation that falls between infrared light and microwaves.
