The National Collegiate Athletic Association found that college athletes are not gambling as much as prior years, according to a recent survey. The NCAA surveyed 20,000 athletes in 2008, and the only gambling increase was for playing casino games on the Internet. The 2008 survey also found that 2.9% of male athletes and 0.6% of female athletes could be at risk for problem gambling.
