Luxury hotels are increasingly giving guests the chance to get involved with giving back to the community through the rising trend of voluntourism. At the Mandarin Oriental in Miami, for instance, guests can help remove invasive plants and assist with recycling programs in Everglades National Park, and more than 2,000 vacationers have signed up for Ritz-Carlton's Give Back Getaways program since they were launched in 2008.
