Following the collapse of Custom Flights, Britain's Civil Aviation Authority is warning that it may not offer financial protection to travelers who book travel packages that are not protected by Air Travel Organisers' Licensing. The CAA said travel agents who sell travel packages without an ATOL permit are in violation of the law. In the event of a supplier failure, the CAA may start referring travelers to their travel agents to make a claim.
