How can you pick the greenest car on the market when the information provided by dealers rarely goes beyond the cars' miles-per-gallon rating? The Environmental Protection Agency's Green Vehicle Guide adds additional factors to consider, including providing ratings for vehicles based on tailpipe emissions and total carbon dioxide emissions. In this year's ratings, the Ford Fusion Hybrid, the Honda Civic Hybrid, the Honda Insight, the Mercury Milan Hybrid, and the Toyota Prius all scored perfect 10s in the SmartWay Elite ranking.
