Nokia ratcheted up its back-and-forth patent dispute with Apple by filing a complaint before the U.S. International Trade Commission alleging that Apple infringed on seven patents on "virtually all" of its phones, computers and portable music players. "While our litigation in Delaware is about Apple's attempt to free-ride on the back of Nokia investment in wireless standards, the ITC case filed today is about Apple's practice of building its business on Nokia's proprietary innovation," said Paul Melin, in charge of patent licensing at Nokia.
