Nokia Siemens Networks said it would go to U.S. Bankruptcy Court today to challenge Ciena's $769 million bid in the recent auction for Nortel Networks' carrier Ethernet and optical-network units. The court will decide whether to approve Ciena's apparent highest bid, but NSN said it would argue that the winner's use of $239 million in debt to help finance the deal carries too great a risk.
