German firm Siemens is looking to set up five cyclotron facilities in India in the next five years for the production of PET biomarkers used in PET/CT imaging of various conditions, including cancer, heart problems and neurological disorders. The company on Wednesday forged a deal with Calcutta-based EKO Diagnostics for the establishment of the first facility. Estimates place the investment worth of each facility at $3 million to $5 million.
