Bigelow Tea has expanded its presence in the past three years to a YouTube channel, a new blog, a Facebook page and a Twitter feed. President Cindi Bigelow said this gives the tea company a chance to tell consumers its story and to have conversations with consumers.
As Christmas nears, retailers in Australia say the lead-up to the holiday has not met expectations. The Australian Retailers Association said the country's retailers had expected sales to reach $38.7 billion this Christmas, but now doubt that will happen. "It will be a solid but not spectacular Christmas with a slight amount of growth on last year," said Margy Osmond, CEO of the Australian National Retailers Association.
Using a dedicated machine and a secret recipe, Cadbury has once again made Christmas chocolate for the queen and sent it to Buckingham Palace. The dark chocolate wrapped in gold foil has been delivered to the royal household since Victorian times, said a Cadbury representative.
