A recent survey conducted by the U.S. Travel Association and Ypartnership found that midpriced hotels, all-inclusive resorts, budget airlines, packaged vacations, drive vacations and cruises will continue to be popular in the world of leisure travel in 2010. "With the arrival of the New Year, there are some encouraging signs that the travel industry is poised for a gradual recovery, although not as quickly as many travel service suppliers would like. The culprit remains the languishing economy," according to the survey.
