Security appliance maker WatchGuard has debuted a formalized managed-services program offering incentives for channel partners as well as support services. The goal is to make MSPs' work easier and more lucrative, according to WatchGuard, which by some accounts is late to the MSP strategy game. But the vendor says the special equipment pricing, license rebates on software and joint-marketing and technical support puts it in line with other market MSP efforts.
