A general aviation organization based in the Bahamas has donated time and aircraft to bring medical supplies to Haiti and evacuate people from the quake-torn country. "Private pilots with aircraft have been volunteering and making preparations to join the efforts from all over the country and even Canada," said John Armstrong, president of Bahamas Habitat. The private planes range from Cessnas to Caravans, and they fly into smaller airports in Cap Haitien and Les Cayes.
